To start with, it took up retro fitting services for the Indian Navy. In due course of time, the company has expanded its role to become a Technology Solutions Provider for the Defence domain in general and Indian Navy in particular. C2C DB Systems operates in three verticals viz. Software Development, System Design and Obsolescence Management. As a company that operates in the niche area in the defence domain it is imperative that we are technology leaders in the area of specialization. Our policies, procedures and organizational metrics ensure that we stay on top of technology at all times.
Our area of operations mandates us to provide innovative solutions to customer’s problems, which is our USP. Hence innovating new ways of achieving a task has become the norm for all employees.
Through our systematic and committed workforce, the company was appraised CMMI-Dev v1.3 by the CMMI Institute, a subsidiary of ISACA, based at Pittsburgh, USA. The process group steered the efforts and streamlined the process so as to confirm

System Design
C2C DB Systems priority focus is the defence market and our systems are designed to meet the demanding requirements of defence operations. The vertical concentrates on defining the elements of a system like modules, architecture, components and their interfaces and data for a system based on the specified requirements. The system architects focus solely on defining, developing and designing systems which satisfy the specific needs and requirements of a business or organization.
A systemic approach is formulated for a coherent and well-running system. A comprehensive plan is executed, which takes into account all related variables of the system. For this purpose, we have the flexibility of adopting either a bottom up approach or a top down approach. Modelling languages are used to express the information and knowledge in a structure of system that is defined by a consistent set of rules and definitions. The designs are defined in graphical or textual modelling languages. The team uses Unified Modelling Language (UML) to describe the view, model, behaviour and structure of the system. Other techniques such as flowchart, business process modelling notations also may be used. System design involves constructing and manipulating many forms of descriptions and methods, namely, architecture design – used to describes the views, models, behaviour, and structure of the system; Logical design – used to represent the data flow, inputs and outputs of the system. Example: ER Diagrams (Entity Relationship Diagrams) and physical design – that defines how users add information to the system and how the system represents information back to the user. It also describes how the data is modelled and stored within the system and also how data moves through the system, how data is validated, secured and/or transformed as it flows through and out of the system. Prototypes are developed for the customer and offered as part of sprint releases that reduces the risk in the system design process.
