C2C DB Systems was set up in the year 2008 and is considered to be the first defence start up organization in India providing solutions in Combat Management Systems in India.
To start with, it took up retro fitting services for the Indian Navy. In due course of time, the company has expanded its role to become a Technology Solutions Provider for the Defence domain in general and Indian Navy in particular. C2C DB Systems operates in three verticals viz. Software Development, System Design and Obsolescence Management. As a company that operates in the niche area in the defence domain it is imperative that we are technology leaders in the area of specialization. Our policies, procedures and organizational metrics ensure that we stay on top of technology at all times.

A graduate in Electrical Engineering, and alumni of the prestigious Naval College of Engineering, Cdr K Ramesh had joined the Indian Navy in 1986. Cdr K Ramesh has served the IN for 25 years and has rich and varied experience, working in Destroyers, Frigates and as Instructor. Cdr K Ramesh also worked with WESEE for 12 years. During this stint at WESEE, Cdr Ramesh was instrumental in formulating the requirements of CMS and developed designs for the indigenous systems.
Cdr K Ramesh was involved in Installation and Trials of the First System of IN till latest Programs of CMS by IN, which include Design and Development of EMCCA, SNF, 17,28, IAC.
There are many accolades to credit the stalwart, who pursued his Masters in Software Engineering. Going forward, Cdr K Ramesh also completed masters degree in management from IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Bangalore.

Cdr LSS Narendra who serves as the Director Operations at C2C DB Systems is a graduate in Electrical Engineering, and alumni of the prestigious Naval College of Engineering. Cdr LSS Narendra had joined the IN in 1987 and had served on Destroyers, Minesweepers, Tankers, Missile Boats, Naval Dockyard and Training Establishment as Instructor.
Cdr LSS Narendra also worked with WESEE for a period of 3 years. During this tenure, Cdr LSS Narendra worked extensively in the CMS Systems and has profound knowledge about the system.
Cdr LSS Narendra has done masters in Electronics & Telecommunication, Naval Weapons and Defence and Strategic Studies; and was involved in Factory Acceptance Test (FATs), Harbour Acceptance Test (HATs) and Sea Acceptance Test (SATs) of the CMS Systems.
Cdr LSS Narendra also worked with WESEE for a period of 3 years. During this tenure, Cdr LSS Narendra worked extensively in the CMS Systems and has profound knowledge about the system.

Software Development
C2C DB Systems offers a full range of custom software development services for products and technologies for the maritime industry. This vertical focuses on design and development of embedded software. With the proliferation of software based systems in the defence, a focused and vertically specialized group to cater for needs of these systems has been felt. This group addresses this precise need.
System Design
C2C DB System priority focus is the defence market and our systems are designed to meet the demanding requirements of defence operations. The vertical concentrates on defining the elements of a system like modules, architecture, components and their interfaces and data for a system based on the specified requirements. The system architects focus solely on defining, developing and designing systems
System Integration
The Integration Phase deals with creating a complex information system that may include designing or building a customized architecture or application, integrating it with new or existing hardware, packaged and custom software, and communications. This can have different categories depending on whether it’s a product or product component and the type of artifact to be integrated (hardware/ software).
Repair Services
As part of the services offered to the Indian Navy, C2C DB Systems also undertakes repair services. Our experienced hardware and electronics engineering team have taken up repair of defective electronic and mechanical components of various systems and repaired the same. Capabilities in this area include understanding of circuitry where scant documents are available, measurement of input and output parameters
Obsolescence Management
The company also takes up Obsolescence management services to cope with specific problems encountered during the life cycle of systems deployed in the defence. There are many occasions when equipment / components are no longer maintainable due to various factors .The repair bottle necks faced by the customer can vary from non-availability of parts to lack on OEM support. We also assist customers to take decisions
Consultancy
The experienced team at C2C DB Systems provides consultancy in areas related to software development, Combat Management systems, System Integration, Interface requirements with external sensors etc. The team continues to assists various clients in these related areas on case to case basis.
IPMS (Integrated Platform Management Systems)
Integrated Platform management is a very important facet of a warship. With a large number of machinery spread across the ship, an effective command and control tool to manage all the machinery is extremely critical onboard a warship. The IPMS serves this purpose.
The requirements from an IPMS onboard a warship is not identical to the requirements from an IPMS onboard a merchant vessel. In fact each type of merchant vessel needs different aspects to be catered by the IPMS. Similarly the IPMS for a warship also require specific requirements to be met.
C2C DB Systems has been involved in IPMS along with various clients and offered augmentation / additions to the standard offerings of IPMS. Along with a core command and control architecture, the company has partnered with companies to offer integration solutions with the CMS and IBS. The company has also integrated various stand alone functionalities like Camera interface and control, Fire detection and alerting system, Battle Damage assessment system etc into the IPMS system for effective use by the shipboard crew.
